Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hosts Bravo’s ‘Top Chef Masters’

Twelve of the finest chefs in America once again compete to see who is the best of the best, as the fourth season of Top Chef Masters airs Wednesday. Each week will whittle down the chefs until the finale where one winner is crowned “Top Chef Master” and receives the grand prize of $100,000 for the charity of their choice.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is known for its appetite for large-scale events, and its 300,000 square foot “Restaurant Collection”.  Fittingly, during th 10-week filming schedule in 2011, a dozen of the best celebrity chefs in the country lived at the resort and competed at its various restaurants during filming.

Watch out for celebrity appearances by Sugar Ray Leonard, Indigo Girls, Dita Von Teese, the B-52′s, Brian Boitano, and Holly Madison. Everyone’s favorite host, Curtis Stone returns with judges James Oseland, and Ruth Reichl.  Two new judges are being introduced, food and travel journalist Krista Simmons and features editor of Gilt Taste, Francis Lam.

Las Vegas is all about high rollers and high stakes. The chefs will have to bring their A game to this competition and bring more than their knives to the table. Expect to see ego’s flying and high drama all in the name of charity.
