Fitness Challenges ~ They Work!


Are you a sucker for a challenge? Can’t let a good challenge pass you by? Why not use that personality trait to make your weight loss goals a reality? Millions around the world are doing it, including celebrities! There are a host of TV shows where you can follow the contestants in these types of challenges through their weight loss gains and losses.

The Biggest Loser on NBC is the most popular weight loss challenge show around. This show has aired for 13 seasons and each year the results of the winning contestant are more and more amazing. And as if the pride of winning and losing tons of weight isn’t enough, the winning contestants take home $250,000.

This show spawned many shows like it helping obese people in many different walks of life to get to a healthy weight.  Everywhere you look, there is a weight loss or fitness challenge. Why? Because it works!

Good old fashioned competition will give your weight loss more meaning and make it fun. The number on the scale will hold a bigger weight (not in the literal sense!). The key here is motivation. Competing in a weight loss challenge may be just the thing you need to light a fire under your butt and get you to finally lose that weight you said you were going to lose years ago.
